Math without Limits
Time: 2018.8 -
Role: Designer, Videographer, Photographer, Social Media & Campaign Strategist, Marketing Advisor
I met the founderAmara Brown on August, 2018. She was a math tutor who worked part-time for Teaching matters and just started to create a math tutoring startup. She hired a web designer/developer already, and needed more help on collateral design and marketing strategy.
With my experience founding a Chinese literature school, I suggested her to create brochures that can hand out in school for students and principals. I designed the whole brand guideline which fit in her vision, helped her map out the users need, her strength, and the market size, and created the tagline and the writings for her business.
After that, I designed brochures, stationary, presentation templates. I also shot and edited the videos and pictures to show her services and testimonials. I’m still working on the social media content, and company swags/give aways.
Time: 2018.9 - 2018.12
Role: Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Email Designer, Front-end Developer
ProjectArt is an art non-profit. With a relatively small team and fast expanding pace, the culture there is close to a start-up.
I was in charge of their collateral design across digital and print, including posters, invitations, business cards, postcard, etc. Also maintaining their website, creating e-blasts by both design and coding.
Time: 2018.11 -
Role: UX/UI Designer, Email Designer
Wardrobe is a tech startup focus on shared clothes in NYC. I started working with them as an email designer. I designed and coded their newsletters within their brand’s aesthetic.
By continue creating good work, I got in the app design team to work on the on-boarding experience for the app. I built four app screens from wireframe to pixel-perfect design.
